Thanks for Another Successful Year

To "pull off" an event like this one, we relay on help from the community.  I hope I don't forget someone, but here goes:

Thanks to:

Veiolia Waste Management - donation of dumpsters
Burgoyne's Toilet Rental - for the port a potties
Scotty's Enterprises - use of his shop and grounds
Dan Zynda - Ringle maintenance
Town of Ringle - multiple things
Ringle Fire Department -
Marathon County - use of Mt. Bay Trial parking lot
Alan - mowing/brush hog grounds
Zoromski Homestead Farm Corn Maze -
Country Fresh Meats - donation of hamburger for tacos
Sam's Club - donation of water
Popplewood families - set up, food booth, raffle, clean up

Our 4-H club had some great raffle items too.  I don't have a list of who all donated, but we had over 25 or 30 things; to include Brewer, Bucks tickets; Packer football, homemade quilt, gift cards, craft items, home decor, just a nice variety.

Our 4-H club uses the funds we raise for educational purposes, scholarships, donations to "adopt a family" Christmas gifts and many other community service areas.

Thank you to ALL who helped with this event!

Blessings from Ringle, Wisconsin.

"Another One for the Books"

16th Annual Ringle Harvest Day - Wet and Rainy

This year will go down as the rainiest, is that a word?  All day rain...on and off.  However, guess what?  We still had vendors show up and brave the weather - bless you.  We still had customers, I know hundreds...my husband just said, over a thousand - die hard shoppers - bless you too.

I don't like to brag...but, for me, I had the best sales over the past several years.  I guess, due to lack of competition, the fact that people wanted to buy, I don't know for sure.  I had NO expectations.  I do know that I was blessed.   God is good - all the time.

I think customers finally "get" my art; as I sold several paintings, paper mache' and other finds.

Thanks again!  By the way, if you want to check out my other blog and keep up with what I am doing, where I am selling my art or read my insightful analogies...go here:   http://dickybirdsnest.blogspot.com/

Come on Out - We will be there

The forcast looks like rain, we do need it.  However, please Lord let it wait till later in the day.  We will still be set up - the event is still on for those wondering and wanting to know.

Please take a ride out to Ringle and see those vendors that have set up.   Kraft's Kuddly Kritters petting zoo will be here from 8 - noon.

The 4-H has some great items: 4 Buck's tickets, 2 Brewer's, Packer football, fruit trees, Target, Shopko gift cards, bowling pizza party, Texas Roadhouse. Kwick Trip, Fleet Farm package, homemade quilt, Cutie Pie Studio, Clay Corner, Subway, and more coming in.  Tickets are $0.50 and $1.00.

We hope to see out at our little rural town.
