Ringle Harvest Day

Saturday, October 12, 2013   
                  8 am  to   3 pm

We have a full event this year.  100 vendor booths.  We will have everything from dog treats, rabbits, handmade jewelry, chiropractic consultations, kettle corn, primitives, knick knacks, antiques, creepy folk art, musical instruments, CD, DVD, books, apples, canned goods, baked goods .... petting zoo.... WOW ...  A LOT!

Drive on over to RINGLE - I know, we are a small town - but, we put on this HUGE event - just 12 miles east of Wausau on Hwy 29 and Cty Hwy Q exit.  Park in the church parking lot or on the side of the streets and stroll from one end of the town to the Town Hall.  Something for everyone!  Held RAIN or SHINE.  Hope you come out!  Support our community and in doing so, you will support 4-H, scholarships and Brad Fust Memorial Fund (Ringle Fire Dept.).

I bought out contents of old farm house near Marathon, WI.  Most of my booth will be the primitive items I saved from that buy out.

Lessons Learned from 2012 Ringle Harvest Day

In 17 years of organizing this event, we have seen all types of weather - snow, rain, sleet, sun, wind - all of it.  Last year was one of those years that the weather wasn't our friend.  

Lessons learned from 2012 event:  

1.  I'm not in control of ANYTHING!

2.  No matter what Mother Nature decides to give us - we still manage to pull off the event.

3.  Sometimes in the worst of weather, I have the best sales.

4.  I tend to show my gratitude to customers by offering some pretty great deals!!! Not just me, but other vendors as well.

5. Worrying about the weather is a waste of time - it will be what it will be.   

Thank you to those die hard vendors and customers that show up no matter what.  Our event is held - either way.  So, come on out in rain or shine - we will be here with some great stuff and deals.

We set up vendors all over our little town - most with the help of local business.  One such business is On Q Collision Center.  This is located when you first come into Ringle.  Corner of Ringle Avenue and Hwy Q.  

This is a new area - we are still waiting for vendors to fill this area.  However, as they sign up I will add them.  Make sure to check it out either way.  This is across from the "pumpkin man" - Zoromski family.

The remaining booths are all along the sides of the roads.  1st Ave. and Birch Streets.  They set up on side of road and sell into the middle of the streets.
